The Home and Garden WaterWise Rebate Schemes are Queensland Government incentive packages designed to help Queenslanders make their homes and gardens more water efficientevery drop is precious! Changes to the rebate for rainwater tanksOn 1 February 2008 the rebate for rainwater tanks increased to $1,500 and will only be available for rainwater tanks 3,000 litres or bigger which are internally plumbed to either a laundry cold water tap or toilet suite. The $1,000 rebate will still apply to rainwater tanks which were ordered on or before 31 January 2008 and are installed on or before 31 March 2008 regardless of whether they are plumbed internally or not.
